My name is Rad. At least, that's the name I use online.

Speaking of names, if you're curious about the name of this site, Words on Crutches, check out this poem: Crippled Words. I wrote it a few months ago—I really can't remember—when I was having trouble with writing a story that was in my head. That's half the reason for this site's name, and you can figure the other half out on your own.

I started posting my first gay-themed story at Nifty on the first quarter of 2007. Readers think that that story was Fixing a Broken Heart, but it's actually not. FABH was first posted on April of the same year. That first story is still being rewritten by the way because I realized that the plot was thicker than what I had written of it so far, and the only way I could remedy that error was to rewrite it from the start. Besides, some of the word choices embarrasses me. But, since that first story, I wasn't able to stop writing.

All of my stories are in the writings section, and they range in length from flash fiction to novel, in various genres. You'll find my poems there as well, and they're also in various forms. And, for my fellow Filipinos, I decided to post my Filipino works here, though they're not as many as my English ones. I'm hoping I'll have a lot of them in the future. Of course, if I could only find my elementary and high school stuff, I'm sure there will be some that I would want to include here. Please note that when you go to the Tagalog section of this site, there won't be any English translation there.

Authors' Keep also gave me a forum, and you can go there to discuss my stories or poems, or to simply chat with other readers. My blog, I guess, is where I put my non-fiction spoutings. That's the place I indulge myself with a little rant against the world every now and then.
